We set out to hire only one programmer when Selin's application came in, and in the hiring process, it was apparent that she was a very driven and ambitious person. It felt only natural that we had to take her in for the interviews, and soon after, we knew we needed her on the team even though she did not fit the exact criteria of that role. So we created a new position for her as a UX programmer, which has been a role where Selin has excelled, and it turned out that she was exactly what the team and the product needed. She has been incredibly creative and self-motivated in her work throughout, communicates very well within her team, and has been able to bring a new level of polish to the product that has been praised by many of our players so far.

As a project manager, one of the many things I have greatly appreciated while working with Selin is her ability to without hesitation pick up any new workflows or tasks thrown at her - while some might struggle to get into habits and use new tools when they're introduced, Selin quickly adapts to them and makes them her own.

Lastly, I also want to bring attention to Selin's unwavering positivity. You can always expect a genuine smile and a warm hug from her whenever you find yourself in need of it.

All in all, anyone who gets the pleasure of working with Selin will not only find a great colleague to work beside, but also a great friend.

I've had the pleasure and privilege to work with Selin for the past two and a half years while we developed and released Locomoto. During this time Selin has been a big support for the team, both professionally and outside of work.

She presents and implements creative solutions to every problem faced, from early stages of development to the final touches. Her design is clear and she makes sure to always put the player experience first. She's a hard worker who puts a lot of focus on accessibility, making sure the game is fun for everyone. She is multifaceted with a great pool of knowledge and the will to every day learn something new.

Selin strives to make everyone in the team feel included, which translates well into her work and cross-discipline communication, with regular check-ins and clear explanations of what she's working on and how it may affect others. I've greatly appreciated her every input and all our conversations during our time together.

She has been hosting game and movie nights regularly outside of work, you always feel welcome when you're with her.

Selin is kind, and tackles every problem head on with a positive attitude. I hope I get the opportunity to work with her again soon.
